The Upanishads stand at the core of the Hindu philosophy. Upanishads, often referred to as ‘Vedanta‘, symbolize the essential aim of the Vedas. As such, they represent True Knowledge and speak about the supreme goal of attainment of Moksha or Supreme Bliss.

Although there are over a hundred known Upanishads, about a dozen of them are considered major. Of these, Swami Chidananda will highlight the essence of six major Upanishads – one on each day of the course of 6 days. The Upanishads covered are Katha , Kena, Kaivalya , Chandogya , Brihadaranyaka and Taittariya.

Text of the selected Upanishad mantras will be sent to the participants.
