School of Bhagavad Gita will conduct a YOGA and MEDITATION RETREAT, from 1 to 7 AUGUST 2019, before the start of the Kailas Yatra from 8 – 21 AUGUST. The retreat will be conducted under the guidance of Swami Sandeepananda Giri.

Participants are welcome to join the Retreat alone, without the Kailas Yatra.

The Retreat will be held in a quiet and beautiful location near Kathmandu, Nepal, amidst green valleys and hillsides.

The purpose of this retreat is to strengthen and prepare one’s mind and body to take the ultimate spiritual journey which is the Kailas-Manasarovar Yatra and Parikrama of the Holy Mt. Kailas. Along with acclimatization to the high altitude, the camp will offer yoga, trekking, Bhagavad Gita and Upanishad discourses by Swamiji and guided meditation.

For those not taking part in the Kailas Yatra, but wishing to join the Retreat, it will be an experience that envigorates the body and mind. Away from the routine and hustle-bustle of daily life, the retreat in the lap of Nature will offer the serene ambience for spiritual upliftment.

In this sanctuary, one is sure to find the direction to inner peace and to the Self.
