School of Bhagavad Gita is happy to announce a spiritual journey to Kedarnath and Tunganath, under the guidance of Swami Sandeepananda Giri.
Situated amidst the majestic Himalayas, Kedarnath and Tunganath are two of the sacred Panch Kedars.
This journey offers the opportunity to see and feel the glory of the divine reflected in Nature.
KEDARNATH is also one among the Chardhams and one of the twelve Jyotirlinga’s of Lord Shiva. Lying against the backdrop of the magnificent Kedarnath range, at an altitude of 3,580 mts, the temple is believed to have been consecrated by Adi Shankaracharya.
TUNGANATH, at a height of 3680 meters, is the highest Shiva temple in the world. Situated just below the Chandrashila Peak, Tungnath offers some splendid views of Chaukhamba, Neelkanth and Kedarnath peaks. The summit of Chandrashila provides a spectacular 360 degree panoramic view of some of the highest peaks in India like Nandadevi, Trishul, Bandarpunch Kedar and Chaukhamba.
The journey also includes a camp in Chopta- the Mini Switzerland of India,visits to Devaprayag, Rudraprayag, Triyugi Narayan temple (optional), Himalayan village, Haridwar/ Rishikesh, Ganga rafting, etc.
